Milling

Premier Glass & Cabinet provides cabinet designs for kitchens, laundry rooms, bathrooms, media centers, home offices, libraries and wine rooms, as well as for custom built-in areas of your home. Our fine products are created from all species of wood, such as oak, maple, alder, ash, hickory and walnut.

Every step of the process is equally important to the quality of the finished product. We take no shortcuts. Our machinery is precisely calibrated to ensure every dimension is accurate to within a 64th of an inch. Precision is extremely important to us.

Assembly

We want our work to be durable and able to withstand the test of time. All joinery is glued and screwed together to insure this. There are no nails, or putty of any kind, just furniture quality joinery.  After assembly, all sides, faces and edges are sanded smooth and flush down to 220 grit in preparation for the finish coating. This insures a seamless flat surface, and each and every joint is perfectly flush.

finish

Using a durable finish is an important decision. We use a clear satin conversion varnish in a three coat application. This finish has been an industry standard in custom cabinetry for over 20 years. It is simply the best finish out there today. Paint grade cabinets have the same finish, just a custom pigmented version for any specific color, which is made to order, one gallon at a time.
